Types of Compliances

Form 8 – Statement of Account & Solvency

Form 8 is the financial and solvency statement of an LLP filed with MCA. Every LLP is generally required to file it by 30 October every year. It contains details of the LLP’s financial position and solvency. Example: An LLP reports its annual financial information and confirms its solvency through Form 8.

DIR-3 KYC

DIR-3 KYC is used for the KYC of applicable individuals holding DIN/DPIN. Designated Partners/persons holding DIN/DPIN, where applicable, need to complete it within the MCA-prescribed deadline. Example: A designated partner updates their PAN, mobile number, email and other required details.

Form 3 – Change in LLP Agreement

Form 3 is filed when there is a change in the LLP Agreement. LLPs making such changes need to file it generally within 30 days of the change. Example: Partners change their profit-sharing ratio from 50:50 to 60:40 → Form 3 is filed.

Form 4 – Change in Partners

Form 4 is used to report changes in the partners or designated partners of an LLP. LLPs having a change in partners/designated partners generally need to file it within 30 days of the change. Example: A new partner joins the LLP → Form 4 is filed.

Form 15 – Change in Registered Office

Form 15 is used to report a change in the registered office of an LLP. LLPs shifting their registered office need to complete the prescribed filing. Example: An LLP shifts its registered office from Raipur to Bilaspur → the applicable Form 15 is filed.
