GET UP TO ₹10 LAKH FOR YOUR STARTUP: COMPLETE GUIDE TO CHHATTISGARH SEED FUND ASSISTANCE (CGSF)

INTRODUCTION

Starting a business is not easy. Many entrepreneurs have great ideas, but they often struggle to arrange money to turn those ideas into real products. To help such startups, the Government of Chhattisgarh has launched the Chhattisgarh Seed Fund Assistance (CGSF) scheme under the Chhattisgarh Innovation and Startup Promotion Policy 2025–30. Under this scheme, eligible startups can receive up to ₹10 lakh from the government to develop their product and grow their business. In this article, let’s understand the scheme in simple words.

WHAT IS CGSF?

CGSF stands for Chhattisgarh Seed Fund Assistance. In simple words, it is a government scheme that gives money to new startups so they can turn their ideas into real products. Many people have good business ideas but do not have enough money to build or test their products. Through CGSF, the Chhattisgarh Government helps such startups by providing financial support of up to ₹10 lakh. For example, suppose a startup has an idea for a mobile app that helps farmers check crop diseases. The idea is good, but the founders need money to develop the app, test it, and make it ready for users. Under CGSF, they can get funding from the government to build the app without depending entirely on investors or loans. Simply put, CGSF helps startups focus on creating and improving their products instead of worrying about arranging money in the early stages of their business.

OBJECTIVES OF CGSF

  1. Provide financial support to early-stage startups that need funds to develop their ideas.
  2. Help startups convert innovative concepts into working products and services.
  3. Encourage entrepreneurship and innovation across Chhattisgarh.
  4. Reduce the funding gap faced by startups before they attract investors.
  5. Strengthen the startup ecosystem by supporting business growth and job creation.
